In February 2024, the ZEIS Institute for Ecological Education (ZEIS Institut für ökologische Aufklärung) was founded in Frankfurt a.M. / Germany under the umbrella of ZEIS Publishing (ZEIS Verlag, Frankfurt a.M.). One of its core tasks is to initiate a process of developing awareness about fundamental ecological relationships that are repressed in the system of civilisation. The aim is to defuse the harmful situation created by this repression. Details on the topic are explained on the website at www.zeis-institut.de (in German) and www.zeis.institute (in English).
The institute runs the ZEIS funding program. Within its framework, project funding and scholarships can be applied for. The funds are provided by private individuals from among the readers of ZEIS Verlag publications. There are no links to political, ideological or any other movements or organisations. Further information about the institute and its background can be found on the websites.
Of course, useful suggestions that do not require funding are also welcome. As the most promising proposals received to date cover a very broad spectrum of ideas, the original restriction of possible funding to certain areas has been lifted. All funding applications and submissions will be reviewed. Important prerequisites are that the issue is understood and that no attempt is made to align the project with ideological, political or other existing trends. We ask to refrain from such attempts.
Contacts and contributions will be treated confidentially and will not be communicated externally by us. We expressly point out that an open discussion of the topic can lead to disadvantages. Since it is essentially about the demonstrable fact that civilisational agricultural methods are fundamentally unnatural and therefore dysfunctional on the long term, there are no fractions within the civilisational system with potential support. The mechanisms of repression are largely unconscious and usually only lead to passive avoidance. However, a direct and open approach towards the topic can lead to emotional defensive reactions. Disadvantages could then arise, for example, as a result of reactions from superiors in scientific and educational professions.
Applications and suggestions should be sent by email to vorschlag@zeis-institut.de with the subject line ‘“Funding program”‘. The direct contact person is Steffen Pichler, the head of the institute and the program. We ask for your patience regarding feedback.
